Sewing joins fabric with thread; bonding joins it with heat, pressure, and a bonding film. Bonded seams are flatter, lighter, sealed against water, and have no stitch holes — a cleaner, more technical finish.

For the right materials, yes — and it seals the seam at the same time. Some garments are best fully bonded, others mix bonded and sewn seams. We'll advise what suits your piece.

Yes — most technical pieces use both: laser-cut panels and perforations, joined with bonded seams. They're designed to work together.
